Qubole offers a fully functioning two-week free trial of the Qubole Data Service (QDS). Each QDS account can utilize any number of cloud-optimized data engines to power queries. To start using Qubole, you need to authenticate QDS with your Azure account to access the data in your own Blob Storage. Unique to QDS, you will not have to ingest or migrate any of your data from your Blob Storage repositories before driving workloads.
Qubole provides full platform use, at no cost, for 14-days. You will need to pay Azure directly for the computing resources that Qubole manages on your behalf (see the question regarding obtaining service credits for Azure on ways to offset your Azure costs during the Proof of Production (POP) phase).
Because no data migration is necessary, as soon as you authenticate with your Azure account you can start querying right away using Spark, Hadoop or Hive, and more services available to all QDS users.
No data migration, no change of control, no start up hassle. With Qubole no data migration or change of account control is required from the Azure Blob buckets. Your data remains safely at rest in your account with your cloud provider complete with any encryption configurations you have chosen.
To help accelerate adoption of best-in-class big data offerings running on the Azure Cloud, Microsoft may offer certain service credits for your Proof of Production phase, based on eligibility. If you believe you may qualify and would like to investigate this opportunity, please check the “I am interested in Microsoft Service Credits for a PoP” checkbox. A Qubole representative will contact you to discuss the next steps.
If you would like to investigate options for receiving Azure Service Credits at a later date, you may do so at any time by reaching out to a Qubole sales representative.
